About the Author

authorphoto_1During the 60s and 70s, he worked as an aeronautical engineer in airplane structural design, conceptual design and air transportation planning. He also took up flying and was able to get experience in flying World War Two aircraft, which remained inexpensive at that time, complementing his study of the history. The energy crises of the 1970s steered him toward mechanical engineering, making energy conversion devices more efficient, where he stayed until retirement, while continuing flying.
